This week in English the children have been busy planning and writing their letters to Father Christmas. We have been encouraging the children to use a range of sentence types in their writing such as statements (ending in full stops .), questions (ending with a question mark ?) and exclamation sentences (which start with a how and what and end with an exclamation mark !).
In maths we have been carrying out some end of term assessments. The children have all been encouraged to try their best and answer as many questions as they can. This really helps us to see what the children have learnt this term. We are very proud of all of their efforts!
This week in science the children will be thinking about how we learn things, the things that we can do now and the things that we might need help with as we get older.
